Easy going place all around, and the staff was informative and helpful. Beer wasn't our favorite but that happens. The people, prices, and vibes earn 5 stars easily.

I am a brewery hunter if theres such a thing, ( like to visit every brewery that looks good, in every city I visit) I come to Arcata very often to visit family. Every time I come here (Redwood Curtain ) we've had a great time, love your beers, and we have always felt welcome and given great service. Yesterday we came after our bike ride, great as always . Today was the exception, Alicia helped us, we only come to buy some merchandise and beer togo before heading back home. She wasn't friendly at all, very defensive/almost aggressive as we ask to see the t-shirts, to the point that only two of is purchased anything, the other two decided not to as they felt the "bad attitude " not going to write all her bad responses, this is already a long review. but We are all in the service industry and even though she deserves 1/2 of a star review. I don't believe in hurting the business but the 5 stars are for the rest of the staff. I just want to give you the feedback, hopefully she has better days.

Quality/Quantity - Sprechen Sie Deutsch IPA, Dusseldorf Altbier & Agnostic Abbey - Wow, their beers are SO good. Flavorful and strong. European inspired flavors - Belgian, German, barrel aged. See website. Atmosphere - Decent size brewery. Food truck in the rear, not sure if it is part of the brewery. Small food menu, see picture. Interesting art in the bathrooms. I believe 3 separate stalls...? Plenty of private parking, I believe they own most, if not all, of the buildings here. Small game section, but we got here late so there were no kids tonight. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm. We closed the place on a Tuesday; again, speaks well of the business. Live music on certain days, see website. Service - 5 stars. The two ladies really did a great job handling ALL the customers. And it was crazy busy especially for a Tuesday. Full house. Speaks well on the beers. Lots of different promotions, see pictures. Price - $6.50 to $7 a beer, plus generous tips. Owner Comments - Congrats on your success since 2010 and for being family owned also. I will be a regular customer every time I am in Eureka. Plan to visit your taproom also.

This place is has good vibes. I'm not a beer drinker so I mostly drink the kombucha. They recently started serving cider and wine. Tragically only one kind of wine, and it's $10 for a small pour. Only drawback is the place lets children in. On some weekend afternoons it's full of screaming children. I REALLY wish they wouldn't let kids in. It's a bar after all... The food truck next door is very good!
